On a slightly inclined terrain with a view of the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains, Houses&Hills proposed to its Dutch customers the project of restyling a farmhouse with a small habitable dependence, but lacking quality finishes, immersed in a large simply planted garden.

Customers, fascinated by the beauty of the surrounding nature and its breath taking views, decided to follow the Houses&Hills project to make it their vacation home; subsequently, after falling in love with our landscapes, good food and mild climate, they decided to leave the Netherlands to move permanently to the Marche, so as to fully enjoy the beauty of our region along with the cordiality of our resident.

Houses&Hills has therefore created what is now called “Villa La Mimosa”, with interior design and furnishing interventions, aimed at modernizing the overall style of the two buildings. In the process of restyling the distinctive features of the farmhouse have been preserved, trying to enhance them by means of interventions aimed at removing the alterations that occurred over the years, thus restoring its ancient splendour. These interventions concerned the cleaning of the external facades, the construction of a porch, the laying of new floors, the renewal and rationalization of the systems, the interior painting of the farmhouse and the exterior of the annex.

A strongly rustic and modest exterior contrasts with a predominantly contemporary interior décor, revisited in Nordic style, contaminated by the presence of particular furnishing accessories, coming from a meticulous research at local antique shops.

Furthermore, Houses&Hills has created a panoramic swimming pool together with the adjustment of the garden, made functional for outdoor activities, with the planting of new shady trees and flowering shrubs.
